Best BBCOR Bat for Power Hitters Bat (Fastpitch too!)

We’ll get some eye-rolls with this one. Bats like The Goods from DeMarini or the Select PWR from Slugger are legit bats used at the highest metal and composite game level. No doubt about it, The Goods and the PWR can rake and sing when in the hands of big hitters. That said, we think the True HZRDUS is just as good, readily accessible, and comes with much less hype but just as much punch as the ones you’ve heard of. So, at least for here, we rate the HZRDUS as our favorite BBCOR bat for power hitters.

If you are a big hitter still playing USA ball and want the best chance of going for power, then the 2022 ADV 360 in USA is a predictable but excellent choice. The bat swings heavy, has a huge barrel, and feels fantastic on hits and mishits. Don’t worry about the durability of this bat—any feedback for this line’s durability is due to the drop 11 and drop 10, which are more fragile than some would like to see. The Drop 5 version is a durable bat with a huge barrel and a great choice for the USA hitter looking for the best bat to generate power.

There are a lot of great big-hitting bats in USSSA (the best performing bat certification) in the drop 5 space. But, if we had to choose to go yard with any bat, we’d have a really hard time passing up the CAT 9 in a drop 5. Of course, you have bats like the CF or META that can rake and bake. But, none of them have the stiffness, hotness out of the wrapper, and direct feedback as the CAT 9. We think this bat reaches the maximum as well as any other bat in the power hitter market.
