The 2022 Easton ADV Hype is Easton's top-of-the-line BBCOR bat for 2022. It replaces the ADV 360 as the feature bat with a newly designed barrel, handle and connection piece. Although still a light swinging two-piece composite bat, it is different enough to be considered a measurable change from the 2021 Easton ADV 360. The price, you will note, is also the most expensive BBCOR bat Easton has ever tried to sell. The drop 10 comes in both a 2 5/8 (SL22HYP108) as well as a 2 3/4 (SL22HYP10). If you need a 2 5/8 USSSA bat in a drop 10 or 8, then the Hype is just about your only option. Full Review

The 2022 Easton ADV 360 in a drop 11 is a new bat this year, with updated durability, when compared to the 2020 and 2021 version of the drop 11 bat. It uses the same composite in the drop 10, 8 and 5. The bat comes in a 27 through 31-inch and is approved for USA play. Full Review

The 2022 Easton ADV 360 in a drop 10 is the same bat but with a slightly different paint job when compared to the 2021. This version, if you look close enough, has a navy background color instead of the black from last year. But, all other features, including the barrel material, handle material, power boost knob are the same. The grip, though, is not a Lizard skin but, instead, a custom Easton. Full Review

The 2020 DeMarini ZOA DL is a two-piece composite bat with a big barrel and many redesigned features when compared to the CF. The DL version of the bat is the DeMarini D-Lab version of the bat---which is their properitery "lab" that sells specific bats. It is the same as the non-DL BBCOR version but with a different paint job. Full Review

The 2022 DeMarini BBCOR ZOA is a two-piece composite bat with a light swing that attempts to build on the success of DeMarini's CF. The three-letter name, ZOA, is like the ZEN in its makeup (a two-piece composite bat with huge barrel and light swing) but all the pieces--from the end cap, handle and barrel are upgraded and changed. Although it does not officially replace the CF for 2022 (the CF is still around) it does match more of the feel found in the Slugger Meta--which is stiffer. We can only imagine that DeMarini is hoping to take some market share back from the Meta in the two-piece composite BBCOR space with this 2022 Zoa. Full Review

But, all other features, including the barrel material, handle material, power boost knob are the same. The grip, though, is not a Lizard skin but, instead, a custom Easton. The bat comes in a 30 through 32-inch. Full Review

Sadly, this bat is very hard to come by and WE DO NOT recommend buying it in the secondary market for a jacked up price. So, until then, hold tight and look at other bats like the Marucci CAT 9 Pasttime, Easton Hype or Axe Elite. (Original writeup): We've spent some time with the new 2022 DeMarini The Goods in BBCOR. The bat is, as expected, fantastic. We like the 2022 version of the bat as much as well as the 2021 (and that was a lot). And we should. The bat is all but the same. They did change the endcap up a bit to be a bit more durable. But, the bat still hits it very well. It is a bit on the heavier side---and probably not appropriate for the 14 or 15-year old that is still getting accustomed to the speed of the game. But, the 16 through 18+ year old that can hit well will really like the 2022 DeMarini The Goods. Full Review

The 2020 DeMarini Voodoo One has hit the shelves and reviews say it's good. Although hard to find, we've been told by a couple of sources the bat will continue to get released in spurts over the coming weeks. Check your favorite haunts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the best chance to find the size you need. Also, the hype on this bat is out of this world so we think it's not nearly as all world as some say that it is. However, the bat is a really good fit for the smaller hitter who wants a light swing, stiff feel, and max performance. Full Review
