We like the 2021 Rawlings 5150 BBCOR more than any 5150 in recent memory. The barrel profile and heavier swing weight, when compared to the VELO (but still average compared to the industry), are just like we like our single-piece aluminum bats. It's an all hitters bat---not too heavy for the kids who need bat speed but like the stiff feel, but just big enough for a strong hitter to size up an inch and start baking dingers. The only hitter who it doesn't fit are those who like a more flexible feel and the smaller player needing as much bat speed as possible. Full Review

The 2019 Axe Elite One BBCOR is a slightly endloaded single piece alloy bat built for bigger hitters that want a stiff bat. Hitters that can swing this bat usually have a lot of success. For the right hitter, it can be the perfect bat. Durability is fantastic, performance for the right kid is top shelf, the feel on good hits is excellent, although the vibration on mishits is a bit more than some can stomach. Overall, the bat is a great fit for good to a great hitter who wants a stiff feel, like the ax handle concept and swings to put max distance on the ball. Full Review

The RIP-IT Air elite is a two-piece composite bat with a good-sized barrel, stiff feel and really amazing performance. RIP-IT has long been out of the baseball bat game, but the bats they made circa 2015 never got the credit they deserved. Full Review
