The 2023 Rawlings 5150 is an under-the-radar bat that performs as well as any bat on the market in its class. Its dominating feature is its lower price point, which gives some pause. It also wings heavier than bats of its class. But, it comes in a BBCOR, drop 10 USSSA and USA drop 11. All of which can work well for the right hitter. Specifically, those how are fine with a stiff feeling bat, a smaller barrel with a bit of an end load.

If you know what you like, a single-piece alloy with an endload, then this 2023 5150 might be the perfect fit for you. It's an inexpensive bat but it can hit the ball hard. Many NCAA players use it when they have to choose from Rawlings. It doesn't have the appear or feel of most other bats, but it performs at the limit and gets the job done.
